What I wore on the looonngg weekend

Happy end to the looonngg weekend!

Who doesn’t love an extra day of the weekend? We have had beautiful weather (finally) and I certainly made the most of it. I actually tried a new yoga class this weekend and I can honestly say that it may have been one of the most mindfully challenging workouts of my entire life. Like seriously, I was so sore in places that I didn’t even know I could be sore in. (TMI?… nahh) Anyway, patio drinks with friends certainly made me feel better.

Long weekends are always great for seeing friends and family and enjoying the (hopefully) good weather. The idea was to put together a couple of staple outfits to wear on long weekends that suit any occasion. Staying within the same colour pallet helps because you know that everything will match everything else so it makes it easy to create new outfits it also makes packing lighter. Naturally, I chose a navy pallet.

The first outfit I wore was for an outdoor barbeque. Luckily, the May long weekend gives the official go ahead on white jeans so I took full advantage and brought out my favourite pair with navy details. Matching it with a navy blouse was easy but I chose this one because of the cute lace detail.

The second outfit was easy to slip on after the BBQ for patio drinks with my friends. I got this dress from tobi.ca and I love it! It is super easy, to throw on with either a cute pair of sandals or some heels.

The last outfit is a very casual one. Easy for running errands or going to the market on a Sunday, this oversized linen shirt complies with My Uniform which made it easy when deciding what to throw on.

So there it is, my long weekend wardrobe. Easy going and laid back pieces mixed together so that I spend less time worrying about what to wear and more time with sangria in my hand. I hope you all had a lovely long weekend. xx
